How HeatBots works

Four simple steps. One smart winter. No tear-down, no roof work, no rewiring your house — HeatBots installs inline with your existing heat-tape circuit.

The process

Four steps from idea to installed

Most HeatBots customers go from "I'm tired of $300 heat-tape bills" to "I forgot it was even on" in about 7–10 days.

FAQ

Quick answers

How long does the install take?

Most installs are under an hour. Complex panel work or multiple heat-tape circuits can take longer; we tell you in advance.

Do I need new heat tape?

Almost never. HeatBots controls your existing tape. We only recommend new tape if yours is failing or undersized — and we'll tell you straight if that's the case.

What about mid-winter installs?

Yes — though pre-winter (Sep–Nov) is best because you capture the full season's savings. Mid-winter installs still pay back inside the same winter.

What does it cost?

Depends on tape size and circuit setup. We give you a written price after the free consultation — no fee for the quote.
